Aiden Abidov, MD, PhD
Aiden Abidov, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist from Israel who initially came to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA in order to specialize in cardiac imaging. He is currently Director of Cardiovascular Imaging at UPHH and Associate Director of Cardiovacular Imaging at UMC in Tucson, AZ.
Dr. Abidov received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Azerbijan State Medical Institute in Baku, Azerbijan. In addition, he earned a doctoral degree in Internal Medicine/General Cardiology from the Kharkov State Medical Institute in Kharkov, Ukraine and completed residencies in General Cardiology and Internal Medicine at the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Zerifin, Israel. In addition to serving as a reviewer for the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Abidov is a reviewer for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, the American Journal of Cardiology, and the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
