Aiden Abidov, MD, PhD
Aiden Abidov, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist from Israel, who initially came to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA in order to specialize in cardiac imaging. He completed his cardiac imaging fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Berman and plans to continue practice in the United States. Dr. Abidov is in his third year of Cardiology Fellowship at the William Beaumont hospital, Royal Oak, MI and, in parallel, works as a Research Consultant for the Department of Cardiac Imaging, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Abidov received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Azerbijan State Medical Institute in Baku, Azerbijan. In addition, he earned a doctoral degree in Internal Medicine/General Cardiology from the Kharkov State Medical Institute in Kharkov, Ukraine and completed residencies in General Cardiology and Internal Medicine at the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Zerifin, Israel. In addition to serving as a reviewer for the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Abidov is a reviewer for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, the American Journal of Cardiology, and the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
