Kenneth A. Brown, MD
Dr. Kenneth Brown is a graduate of the Cornell University Medical College and former resident at the Peter Brent Brigham Hospital in Boston, MA. After completing fellowships at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, he went on to become one of the most influential physicians in the field. Dr. Brown is currently a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Stress Laboratories at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
Dr. Brown is an expert on cardiac risk assessment and the use of noninvasive imaging as a diagnostic and prognostic tool. He was a founding member and Past-President of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology. Research interests include the use of nuclear cardiology imaging techniques to risk-stratify patients with coronary artery disease including those with acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and planned non-cardiac surgery. He has been widely honored with various academic and professional awards, including repeated appearances on Who's Who in America and Best Doctors in America.
